ARMISTO Wool Lab Story

Here’s how each product is intricately crafted in our workshop;

Farm Finds

An ARMISTO expert is assigned to scout the best sheep farms in the South of Australia. These sheep rear wool once a year. This is done without hurting the sheep.

Farm to the Cleaners

The reared wool goes through a sorting and grading process where only the best wool is selected for an ARMISTO product. Once selected, the wool undergoes a unique cleaning process to remove any dirt.

Cleaners to Weavers

This cleaned ARMISTO wool is then shipped to a team of ARMISTO weavers and spinners. The spun yarn undergoes a magical process with the knitter where it is coloured with azo-free and eco-friendly dyes.

Crafting & Knitting

The ARMISTO knitting team then weaves their magic and each piece undergoes an exquisite process of detailing.

Grand Finale

Every piece undergoes a rigorous checking process before it is lovingly packed by our team to reach you.
